Formation des élus de la commune de Bouhlou

Training for elected officials and managers of the commune of Bouhlou

As part of the Restore Bouhlou 1 project, AESVT Taza organised a training workshop for the elected officials and managers of the commune of Bouhlou, to raise their awareness of the threats facing the Bouhlou site and its biodiversity.

The training highlights the importance of protecting aquatic ecosystems, preserving water resources and promoting the sustainable management of the local natural heritage, especially in the face of the threats to the Moroccan mussel (Margaritifera marocana), a species endemic to Morocco.

Mobilising elected officials and managers is an important lever to encourage local environmental initiatives and to foster cooperation between institutions, associations and citizens.

Through this workshop, the Restore Bouhlou 1 project aims to support a collective drive to protect the Bouhlou river and enhance its natural resources.
